Jason Posnansky RN (EC), BScN, PHC-NP
Jason Posnansky received his certification as a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner from Ryerson University in 2007. He has been employed as an Emergency Department Nurse Practitioner at Toronto General Hospital since 2007. He is a member of the Emergency Department annual conference committee, and a prior presenter. Also, Jason Posnansky mentors Nurse Practitioner candidates within the emergency department on an ongoing basis as he continues work with the Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Consortium. Furthermore, he participates as a lecturer in several Nurse Practitioner University programs in the Toronto area. Prior to becoming a Nurse Practitioner, Jason Posnansky worked for 10 years as a Registered Nurse in Emergency/Trauma, ICU and PACU. Lastly, as part of the leadership team, Jason Posnansky’s extensive health care experience has allowed him to collaborate with his colleagues to develop strategies for improving emergency department flow and patient care delivery systems
Dr. Vu Kiet Tran, MD, MHSc, MBA
Dr. Vukiet Tran is a certificant of the College of Family Physicians of Canada. He earned is fellowship in Emergency Medicine in 2000 and is now an active Emergency Physician at the University Health Network. He is also an Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto. He is co-chair of an annual Emergency Medicine Conference. Among his interests is continuing professional development, Dr. Tran actively participates in the training of nurse practitioners through numerous university programs. In addition to his clinical work and teaching commitments, Dr. Tran pursued his interest in business and marketing by completing his Masters degree in Business and Administration (MBA) through the Richard Ivey School of Business. Dr. Tran’s current focus is on the development of strategic models to improve health care access and delivery for emergency departments and private businesses. Dr. Tran is also a Family Physician who manages two family practices and walk-in clinics.
